Dutton Park Family Dental

At Dutton Park Family Dental, we are proud to bring together a team of experienced clinicians, dedicated support staff, and practice leaders who share a common goal – helping our patients enjoy lifelong oral health.

As a family-focused dental practice, we provide personalised care for children, adults, and seniors throughout Dutton Park and the greater Brisbane community. Our team is supported by the experienced clinicians and staff from our sibling practice, Highgate Hill Dental Centre – a trusted Brisbane practice that has been caring for generations of families for many years.

While each member of our team brings their own skills, experience, and personality, we are united by a commitment to professionalism, continuous learning, and delivering exceptional patient care at every stage of life.

Together, our shared philosophy is centred around gentle care, honest communication, and helping patients feel at ease at every visit.

From our dentists and dental assistants, to our front desk and management team, we are committed to creating a positive and supportive experience at every interaction.

Meet Our Clinical Team

Our clinical team is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through evidence-based dentistry and personalised treatment.

Taking the time to listen, educate, and understand each patient’s individual needs is at the heart of our approach. Whether providing preventive care, restorative treatment, aesthetic dentistry, or family dental care, our clinicians are committed to delivering treatment that is both clinically excellent and tailored to the person sitting in the chair.

Through ongoing professional development and a collaborative approach to patient care, our clinical team strives to make informed, long-term oral health decisions accessible to every patient.

I grew up locally in Brisbane and have always enjoyed building meaningful relationships within the community. Dentistry gave me the opportunity to combine healthcare, hands-on problem solving, and helping people feel more confident in their smiles and overall wellbeing.

Visiting the dentist can feel overwhelming for some patients, so I aim to create a calm, gentle and supportive environment where people feel comfortable asking questions and feel involved in their treatment decisions. I particularly enjoy caring for families and seeing patients maintain their healthy smiles over many years.

I joined the Highgate Hill team in 2023 and quickly felt at home within such a warm and supportive dental team. Whether I’m assisting in surgery or welcoming patients at reception, I enjoy helping people feel comfortable, cared for, and relaxed during their visits.

I’ve worked in the dental industry for several years and love the balance of patient care, teamwork, and building relationships with families in our community.

Outside of work, I am:

Outside of work, I’m a proud mum to two energetic children, Henry and Isla. I enjoy catching up with friends over coffee, going to the gym, and spending time with my family watching cricket and soccer together.

A bit about me:

I joined the Highgate Hill team in 2023 and have really enjoyed becoming part of such a welcoming and supportive dental clinic. Originally from Japan, I’m fluent in Japanese and love helping patients feel relaxed, comfortable, and cared for throughout their dental visits.

Before moving to Australia with my husband and children, I worked as a dental hygienist in Japan for five years after obtaining my national dental hygiene qualification. My experience in preventive dental care and patient support has given me a strong appreciation for helping people maintain healthy smiles.

Outside of work, I am:

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking and travelling with my family.

A bit about me:

I’ve been part of the Highgate Hill team for more than 10 years, working across both surgery and reception. With experience in business operations, patient care, and practice management, I enjoy helping our dental clinic run smoothly while creating a welcoming and supportive environment for patients each day. I also hold a Certificate III in Dental Assisting and a Diploma of Practice Management.

What I love most about working in the dental industry is building genuine relationships with our patients and being part of a team that helps people feel comfortable and cared for during their visits.

Outside of work, I am:

Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors hiking and riding my bike, or unwinding with a good book. I’m a baker at heart and enjoy trying new recipes, and I’m currently learning Italian in my spare time. If you’ve visited our reception area, there’s a good chance you’ve heard my laugh while chatting with patients in the waiting room.

A bit about me:

I’ve been part of the Highgate Hill team for over 20 years and have loved building a long career as a dental assistant within such a supportive family dental practice. I enjoy helping patients feel at ease and bringing my experience and knowledge to the clinic each day.

I’m passionate about lifelong learning, which has led me to study across a wide range of fields including fashion styling, molecular and cellular biology, medical microbiology, health promotion, health service management, and holistic medicine.

Outside of work, I am:

Outside the clinic, I enjoy fashion, powerlifting, and fitting in a long walk whenever I can — whether that’s along the beach or simply doing laps around the clinic while working towards my daily step count goals.

A bit about me:

I joined the Highgate Hill team in January 2026 and have loved becoming part of such a friendly, caring, and community-focused dental practice.

One of the things I enjoy most about working in the dental industry is building connections with our wonderful patients and being part of a team that genuinely cares about helping people feel comfortable and supported.

Outside of work, I am:

Outside of work, life is wonderfully busy as a farmer’s wife, mum to four young adult children, and daughter caring for aging parents. When I do find some spare time, you’ll usually catch me gardening, working on different craft projects, enjoying music, or relaxing with a good movie – my all-time favourite is Amadeus.

My favourite quote is “The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.” by William Shakespeare.

A bit about me:

I bring a unique blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and people-focused leadership to the team, shaped by an international career spanning digital transformation, consulting, eCommerce, and entrepreneurship.

I graduated as Valedictorian from The University of Queensland Business School in 2013 with a Master of Commerce (Advanced), majoring in Electronic Commerce and Information Systems. Before relocating to Australia, I worked with global organisations including The Walt Disney Company and PChome Online, where my passion for customer experience and data-driven innovation first began.

Over the past decade, I’ve held leadership roles within PwC Technology Consulting, specialising in digital health transformation. I also co-founded re.candle.co, reflecting my passion for sustainability, ethics, and community. In addition, I serve as a Board Member of the Business Information Systems Advisory Group at The University of Queensland Business School, supporting industry engagement and future business technology education.

What I value most about being part of the clinic is creating thoughtful systems and experiences that help both patients and our team feel supported and cared for.

Outside of work, I am:

Outside of work, I’m a hands-on mum to Delphine and a busy business and life partner to William. I enjoy staying active through pilates and tennis, and I treasure regular lunch catch-ups with my close circle of girlfriends whenever schedules allow.

A bit about me:

I joined the Highgate Hill team in 2021 and love being part of a friendly and supportive dental practice. Whether I’m assisting in surgery or greeting patients at reception, I always aim to help people feel welcomed and comfortable during their visit.

Alongside my role at the clinic, I recently completed my Registered Nursing degree and have started my graduate RN position at Beaudesert Hospital. Patients will still see me around the practice from time to time, which I really enjoy.

Outside of work, I am:

Outside of work, I love sewing projects, discovering local cafés, and listening to live music in hopes of finding my new favourite band.

A bit about me:

I started working with the team in 2023 while I was in Grade 11 and completed my Certificate III in Dental Assisting alongside my studies. I’ve really enjoyed building my knowledge and growing within such a supportive and friendly dental team.

What I love most about working in the dental industry is helping patients feel comfortable, learning new skills, and being part of an environment where everyone supports one another. My least favourite moment is when a “quick check-up” turns into a check-up and filling appointment late in the afternoon – right when I’m mentally ready to head home!

Outside of work, I am:

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me spending time with friends, swimming, playing piano, or relaxing with a good movie or book. If I’m not doing any of those things, I’ve probably gone out to get food. I’m also fluent in Persian and understand Turkish.

A bit about me:

I joined the Highgate Hill team in 2017 and have loved being part of such a caring and supportive dental team ever since. As a dental assistant, I’m especially passionate about supporting our Japanese-speaking patients and helping them feel comfortable, reassured, and understood throughout their dental visits.

I’m fluent in Japanese and hold a Certificate III in Dental Assisting. You might also occasionally find me in our onsite dental lab helping to create some of our dental appliances.

Outside of work, I am:

Outside the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my two children and expressing my creativity through art and traditional Japanese calligraphy.
